The Story
I didn't set out to run companies. I set out to fix things — and slowly realized that's the same job.
I started in the trades, learning the trade behind the trade: how good service feels, why customers come back, what makes a technician stay for ten years instead of ten months.
That work became Sloan Appliance Repair, then D3S Service, then Mobile Cool Cube — three companies that all answer the same question in different ways: what does it take to be the one people trust?
I write and speak about that question now. About operating quietly, hiring slowly, and building the kind of business that doesn't need a rescue plan.
